This is yet another stunning, beautiful piece of work. =) all the cooler since I love Egyptian mythology.

Funny fun facts, Sekhmet was supposed to be a rather chaotic goddess of war and destruction. She was sent to wage war on an army and ended up going so berserk that they got her drunk to stop her. No joke, that's what the basic story is. x3 In some versions she ended up getting sealed into the persona of another goddess, Hathor, or that the two of them are one and the same, but alter-egos.

I imagine this shot is her in one of her calmer and more dignified moments. x3 Once again, amazing art. =)
