Samus is home from the vet, and very, very out of it.
Edit: The gook on her eyes is medication, just to let you guys know!
She'll be back up and causing chaos soon, though, I'm sure.

Wow! Yeah, sounds like she'd been through something terrible. :( I've never known a rat to bit that hard so often.
The only times I've been bitten and had blood drawn were once, when I startled a sleeping rat, and another time when my rat's foot was stuck in the bars of his cage, and while I tried to get him out, he panicked and bit me. I got nerve damage from that one!

yeah... I think the fact that she was scared of me all the way up till the end hurt more than any of her bites :< I trained the other one to not bite anymore, but I think she was just too far gone. Petco said they were 3 months old, but I think they were older, they didn't look like babies.
Ah, I just asked because I'm getting two female rats in a month, and was wondering if it was a good idea, I think it is. c:
I do know they help a lot with mammary tumors and I think increase the rat's life span. I know the operation is risky though, so it's a hard choice, but I just know there's a lot of benefits from it.
Better than paying for multiple tumors to get removed though, right?
