Eid Muzafr - Dressing Up
~~~
Eid Muzafr Mubarak! Happy MUZAFR Monday! (HER NAME IS MUZAFR, PEOPLE, HOLY HELL.)
Combination Muzafr Monday piece and commission for the ever sweet
Blue443 . This commission has been in the works for so long - we started talking about ideas forever ago, and finally decided to finish it up before I ship out!
Here we see Muzafr is her usual garb trying to help Blue find some accessories! Blue wanted me to dress him up kind of like his ancestors who are Armenian. As I poked around for ideas, I kept seeing these thick scarves that they would just cross in front of their necks/chests like that. Some were bright colours, and others were more muted, so I went with brighter colours that contrast nicely with Blue's colour scheme. ^^ And tassels!
You always start with the scarf, people. B)
And those must be the biggest scarves in existence, if they fit us in feral form. 8D Dragon logic, ftw!
Thanks Blue! Hope you like it!
Muzafr is my sona!
Oooh yes. People call her 'Eid' all the time, despite myself having /never/ referred to her as such, explicitly mentioning 'Muzafr' all over my page and in my descriptions, and even having the translation what 'Eid Mubarak' is right there at the TOP of my description. (And even then, a quick Google search would answer that, if the person is that lazy.)
It's just so insanely frustrating. People also continuously refer to her (and myself) as male, which also realllllly frustrates me, for the same reasons above. *points up*. I even had a PSA on my page about that for a while, since at MFF 2013, some dude actually followed my friends and I into the women's bathroom thinking I was a guy because I had some of my fursuit gear on. I swear to God.
Anyway, rant over. XD. Thank you! ^^
A surprising amount of people refer to her as 'Eid,' due to me calling the 'title' of the piece 'Eid Muzafr...' which if they'd pay attention, would realize is me translating that Arabic into 'Happy Muzafr Monday.' And then, on top of that, I have NEVER referred to her as 'Eid,' and I call her 'Muzafr' in all other instances in my comments and such. It's just insanely frustrating.
