These were commissioned by
viscountessalmyra and were well within my interests!
I used a cool new technique to make the shield bend. Instead of carving the sides to make it curve like I'd normally do, I carved it flat. Then I soaked it and stuck it to a glass jar with rubber bands. After a night of drying the shield had a perfect curve to it!
Plus there are little wire loops to put a string through. Those aren't new, but I've never posted a picture of a piece with it on!
The shield and triforce are 1 inch wide while the sword is 2 3/4 inches long.

LOL I spent the day in my dad's woodshop today making that sword and that SHeild and a zelda harp. for a cosplay [wood and foam, well, the harp is wood and metal and stuff, the sheild and sword are wood and foam]
anyhow these look awesome. you do nice work. looking at your work makes me wish I had more time for woodworking. thanks for sharing.
