Currently working on a lion fursuit for leolightmane!

The entire suit is pretty much finished, just need to fur the head and feet. He will be debuting at FWA next month and should be finished by the end of this week. c:

Lions and felines in general are so tricky to sculpt because their head shapes are so different to work with. It's tough to get a suit to look "feline" sometimes and not "just another dog with rough ears," but we do try our best and think he's looking pretty good so far! His ears are a little bigger than we'd normally make them as we're anticipating a rather larger and poofy mane, so we didn't want them to get lost in all that fur.

The last fully-maned lion we built was Louie back in 2010. I think that's a decent improvement since then, but we'll see after he's furred. ;)
