I bought a set of prismacolour pencils, but they're annoying me so much because they're soft as shit =|. It's really frustrating trying to sharpen them. Might try out some markers eventually.

I still can't get the hang of the pencils myself... They smudge a lot and I go really slow and careful... then BAM outta' nowhere - the colors turn to mud.

I don't get how you avoid streaking like often happens with markers.

The main key is the newer the marker, the better. Also, color in circles, rather than strokes. Layering colors helps too! But you have to layer and blend quickly, while the inks are still relatively wet. I do get problems with streakyness when I color large areas (like a sky). In that case, I have to layer like 5 times to smooth it out. :P
