Shin, this is gonna sound silly, but my very favorite thing about this is THOSE DAMNED PAWS! XD I love how the toe son one curl in, and splay out a little on the other...I love the subtlety that shows you they are crossed, but close together...I think it's just those little nuances that are very REAL in the way they're drawn, so organic! ALso yes to ass in the air, and beautiful highlighting too...you can definitely tell it has that short, dobie sheen to the fur. :D I LOVE YOUR DETAILS, WOMAN.

My last attempts to color only with pencils were lack of heavier pattern.. Mayhaps markers would do the trick?

Oh my lord I love that expression, the wicked looking smile and the one eye closed. Just wow. And I love female dobermans! They don't seem to be that common though, or else maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Either way this is a really lovely work of art
