So I like taking things I find and making them into a personified character (If that makes sense). Like the idea of a police dog in the form of Taylee.

This I took from an article I was reading about (Oddly enough) Demons, and the names of them in various religions, types of them, just on a whim. Sure the idea of demons and angles, good and bad etc is an old and worn out concept. I get it, but it didn't stop me from finding one rather interesting.

The Mara are tied in with Buddism. Essentially they aren't just an essence of evil but if I interpreted right, they're an essence of every day life, from emotions to life concepts they form a balance in using their influence to be positive or negative

I could be totally wrong in what I got out of it or of the true essence of the mara but I felt like making a character that embodied desire, cravings, not so much sexually but the fire that burns for success, wealth. A flame that if let loose consumes the heat and soul and leaves the person a charred mess.

Tanha here is one's unimpeded desire, temptation and greed. the craving that will fulfill a dream or lead to one's damnation. Learn to control her before she engulfs and controls you.
