Some totodily special cake (art + short story)
You arrive at your dude's house, feeling great at this sunny and promising afternoon. You've been invited to the party that is meant to be hold to celebrate the party-loving fella's hatchday.
As you look towards the door you find a sign which hangs there to tell you as well as all the other guests to walk around the house right into the garden. There you find the birthday boy, the little crocodile-like Pokémon who is just busy with putting some plates on the table next to the many cakes he had prepared for all his guests to enjoy today.
You step behind him and pick the turquoise Totodile up. The little guy feels glad to get greeted by you and enjoys the hugs you give to him.
As you wish your friend the best for his special day and thank him for the invitation you look on the yummy treats he has there. An impressive amount of chocolate cakes, all coated with a thick layer of chocolate creme and decorated with berries, are placed on the tables.
Knowing your love for sweet treats and the amount of friends soon to arrive yet the little Totodile had spent the last few days to bake enough for everybody to have some.
The delicious looking cakes manage to make your tummy rumble and you need to wipe away some drool from your mouth. You want some of those as soon as possible.
Your little dude smiles brightly as he hears your stomach's growls for food and bounces on a stool to get you a nice big slice from the cake. With a slight blush you soon receive the cake and sit down along with the hatchday kid who is wagging his tail amused.
While you both chat about a lot of nice things you have experienced lately you start eating. Just in the moment you delightfully take the first bite it is like an explosion of chocolaty flavors. You murr as you let the cream melt on your tongue and your cheeks seem to glow a bit from the joy of the taste.
Your little friend currently got himself also some cake and and bounces around flattered as you tell him that you love the taste of that chocolate cake. He can't help giggling as you ask him for another slice and gladly prepares another slice for you to enjoy.
You ask him about the recipe and he tells you that it's a cake he extra prepared fitting to this special day. While you munch and stuff your face with bigger bites of that super good tasting hatchday cake you are already planning forward to note the recipe down sometime later.
Soon the little Totodile needs to get you another slice of cake and you can't help but you feel like in absolute bliss watching him preparing it for you. It is like you want to bounce around with him and wag your tail as well. You guess it is right what the people are saying: That eating chocolate gives you a supergood mood and fills you with cheer.
Your little dude tells you that there is a special surprise coming with the cake he has for you here. You wonder what he might mean as the slice looks just like the other ones though he sees his dude has put a little decoration on it, reflecting with the image of a Totodile.
You find it very cute and think that he must put it there since he is a Totodile and it is his hatchday but then you notice that the picture seems to move when you turn around your head.
The little Totodude laughs as you realize that it's no small picture but rather a small sort of mirror on the cake. You poke and rub your face as you look at your now blue paws. You're a Totodile yourself now. That's the same moment as you realize what he had meant with special day because he had told you before.
You take the change with humor, knowing this prank isn't permanently. You and your dude hug eachother and already think of how to surprise the other guests later yet. This day definitely has turned out to be something special.

Hiya everybody and thanks already for all the nice wishes to my hatchday today on April 2nd, Totodile's Day. (-^.=.^-)
I'll soon have some yummy chocolate cake today with my family yet and since I want to celebrate with you totodily awesome dudes as well I have prepared this special cake for you. I am superhappy and grateful for having such a wonderful life, people who like me for what I am and so many dreams and joys I experience everyday.
To my hatchday I wish you all the best for this Totodude's year of life. May luck shine on you and many fun surprises make your heart feel bouncy. I hope I can continue to be a helpful dude for you and I'm looking forward to all our fun chats whenever you wish to see me.

Oh, wow! *catches and holds the big orb above his head* Thank you for this nice balloon. It must have been quite a challenge to inflate and carrying it over. I need to deflate it soon so it won't get carried away by the wind accidently and can fit through the door. Is that your favourite color, Masster? X3

Hehehe, lots of fun ideas there, Soji. I fear though I didn't spike the drinks. I rarely do pranks because I'm always a bit worried one of my dudes could get superscared of the transformation. The TF effect of the cake will wear off quickly, too. <X3
Haha, funny thing. I had quite the nightmares sometimes about shrinking. I dreamed about that nobody of my dudes would be able to find me because I was too small and they treated me like I wasn't there at all. Thanks to that some of my dudes know about magic that can prevent such things like getting lost completely though I'm not that nervous about it anymore. I simply try to imagine that things around got bigger for a brief time and that I'll be bigger again soon. (^.=.^') <---once panicked quite some when he got into a shrinking incident before

I dreamed about that nobody of my dudes would be able to find me because I was too small and they treated me like I wasn't there at all. Hmm, scary things...I ffor myself don't like horror stories or when people fight. That can be quite scary. I also find lightnings quite scary. I always hide myself under the bedsheet during strong storms. Funny thing there, I don't even dislike the loud thunder but the sudden bolt piercing the sky makes me very nervous always. <:3
