In all seriousness, I should consider opening a second account on FA to upload my wrestling art to. I say that because my favorite wrestlefur artist
armoredcarp is watching me and I won't always churn out art of that very genre. On the second hand, I have another friend watching me who does not like professional wrestling so I suppose he would not like that kind of art. Although I think Carpie might like this piece, despite being a non-wrestling pic, for he and 
ulrich-ironpaw both agree that "the sexiest thing a woman can wear is a competition swimsuit."
But I digress. Up to this day, there is almost no art on FA showing the awesome and sexy sport of tandem surfing. There is one art piece but it only shows the couple paddling out to catch a wave and not the lifting part, which is the piece-de-resistance of the sport. I guess I am the first fur to draw said part and upload it for the whole furry world to marvel at. Being part of the
socalfurs clan, I felt compelled to draw my fursona Gus tandem surfing with SCF's mascot Tamerlaine the fox, demonstrating the "Keaulana/Camel" lift. I think my work is pretty splendid just looking at the finished piece. With the shading and highlights I have done, it is starting to look like what my dear best friend 
aelius draws. I sort of would like to draw other lifts as well, as this piece only took one day to finish.
I will be ready to the most probable event that the SCF group finds this. I'll bet that when they do, they will repost it to their gallery. That would be just tubular, awesome, killer, rad!

If you don't mind a suggestion? I mean, it's your work, so you do whatever you wish for fanart. Not gonna stop you.
But we're doing a contest for the design of a male mascot; submissions will be closed in about 27 hours and the finalists chosen by the 15th of May and the winner anounced June 1st. Might I suggest doing something with some of the designs posted, or perhaps try to come up with your own entry for the contest itself?

Gee, uhh. I don't know. I don't see how a winged African wild dog who has a very exotic philosophy and sense of style can represent what the state of California is all about. It is like he isn't from California at all; in fact he could be from another planet knowing how he thinks.
Although, I fear this soon-to-come male mascot will become Tamerlaine's love interest, and continued tandem surfing pics of her and I will suggest... well, you know...

I know what you were suggesting as well as the rules, but it will take a while for me to design a character that the judges will even consider nominating. And, even at that, the odds are still way out of my favor, just as they are for everyone else who entered.
But I am still curious. Will this male mascot be Tamerlaine's love interest? Just asking. I am not implying that I want her and Gus to be a couple and I am sorry if I am. I respect what the creator does with their characters.
Besides, I already have a character of my own who could be a soulmate for Gus and I believe I just revealed her name.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! You are very much welcome! And it is wonderful to hear that she is "always the athlete." Thank you for being so positive about my decision to upload this picture. It seems that artists get so happy when they see fanart of their characters uploaded especially by artists like me who hardly get any views and comments.
