Do you mean that my vocals are not timed with the backing, because I think it's ok... ^^ It's a hard piece to sing over, since the piano entertains some slowed/slurred parts in the music. Some parts may seem quicker, the main one being where the chorus starts, but I have listened to this with my friend just now and we both think it's fine.

It's hard to explain, but anyway. I am sure that's the way I'd sing it again if I was attempting it once more. I don't think I rushed it, I don't remember rushing it ^^;;

If she's singing over the piano piece that Julia plays in the bar during the Laguna dream sequence, it plays at a different tempo through a few places in the song. else, she seems to be matching the song quite well, and improvising well where the discrepancies are.

the original is some of the vocals are drawn out smoothly and in a softer tone becuase its supposed to be a soothing love song ^^ but you versions good its just when i heard it, it sounded wronge or odd but nevermind

I didn't play the piano.. I can't take credit for that lovely playing. I can play the piano but not brilliantly :) Maybe one day I shall though, I'd love that. I can't have a piano in this house at the moment, no space!

I wouldn't think that you need to wander away shyly, as your voice is amazing. Would love to hear more from you, no matter what it is that y ou're singing, as the pure quality of it seems to reach deep into me and make me smile. You have a very wonderful gift for music.

With your voice, I wouldnt worry at all, my dear. Even the most iciest heart would melt upon hearing the warmth coming through in your lyrics, and the emotion that you are able to infuse into your singing could cure the most emo of emos.

Very beautiful. ofcourse a version of a known piece of music will NEVER sound the same as the original, if it would do where is the sense in making your own version? Its like drawing, if all would draw the same way it would be boring as hell...

Aww thanks :D I have tried a few different versions of this song over the years. I really adored ff8 it was one of the cutest stories in my opinion. I also love the entire OST. This is a very simple song and terribly cheesey. But I still think it's very nice and it suits the characters and the mood of the whole concept. I think it also suits my voice luckily!
