Hey! I think I finally found a name for this guy! Which is good, because he's been nameless for like 2-3 months now. Been tired of calling him "my AWD" or "AWDy" which sounds like "Audi" in my head. But, anyways, I think his name is going to be "Tristan". Why? Because I think he kinda looks like one. Yes, I know, I'm bad at coming up with good, meaningful names. Oh well. I still like his name.
Anyways, on to why I got a pin up of him being sexy. Well, actually, it is because he's sexy, but that's beyond the point. You may or may not know that I got this character by winning an auction from Eisenheim a few months back. Well, how I even heard of that auction was I browsing the favorites LittleFreckles, and I found this amazing looking AWD up for auction. I thought to myself "Man...I bet Freckles would do an awesome job drawing him." Especially because I think she liked the character as well, considering it was in her favorites.
Well, fast forward a bit. I manage to win the auction, get the character, and post the refsheet because "ZOMG I got an AWD now!" Freckles seemed excited I won the character. I was excited she approved and said it'd be awesome to have a chance to commission her. Few days later, she opens up pin up commissions. How could I say no, honestly? No, really, I love a good pinup, and a sexy AWD pinup by the ever awesome LittleFreckles is even better.
The finished product was even better than my expectations. It's probably my favorite picture I've gotten from Freckles yet. She did an awesome with the colors and the fur pattern and all that. And she did awesome with the whole "sexy pinup" part of it too. In other words, I'm very very pleased with this.
