True, though, the tricky part of it all is the bone structure. Those pesky ribs and all would make having gills there rather difficult for him to breath effectively as the flesh needs to expand and such to allow water to pass effectively. Fusing human with animal with aquatic features can be a bit of a struggle but over all, as I said, you did a pretty good job with it.
