The pads overlap because I wanted to make them look meaty and coushiony, why does it look 2D to you?
I can't really make something out of the rest of your comment, you need to be a bit more precise, because it doesn't help me a lot. What is off with the artstyle? Is the way I rendered out the fur? What does this have to do with commissions? I did five commissions here on FA so far including anthropomorphs and as far as I know all commissioners where at least content with the result.
