I deeply apologize for the title, I couldn't think of anything better, haha.
1/2 Commissions for
of her character Grav, who's a fighter of sorts.
I really enjoyed doing this piece. I just adore drawing muscular guys, and this was certainly no exception, especially since the pose made it so fun. I've also recently discovered this custom pencil brush for Photoshop, and I love it so much it's not even funny, so I've decided to use it for sketching from now on. Also, did a slight tint gradient on the shading cause I could.
Listened to Ultrasound by Johnny Massacre while working on this. It doesn't really fit the theme of the piece, but it did put me in the perfect mood. It's one helluva song, I suggest you check it out if you get the chance! On a side note, the animation for that video is really fantastic as well.
