I was going through some old files when I came across a sketch that
Tokeki had done for me. I decided do some color practice with it, and I'm pretty pleased overall.
I did nearly pull my hair out because my tablet screen shows colors much more vividly than computer screens, and trying to come up with a conversion process failed horribly, after hours of trial and error. So, I quasi cheated and recolored it with better saturation. I really, really miss the Office 2010 picture viewer program. Midtone correction is fuckin' baller, yo. :\
Anyway, go show
some love. He was awesomely supportive through many iterations of the process. :)

Hee. Hardest part was getting saturated colors so it didn't look bland, but not so bright that it looked cartoony or akin to a Jersey Shore reject.
Using real lion pelts as a sample led to some drab, unsaturated colors that didn't work so well. Sadness.
I'm loving the shade of brown I ended up with though. :3

I really want to tackle you now. Grr. :D
If you can get your hands on a Office 2010 / Office 2007 installation and key, you can install just the picture viewer. (*cough*totally did that*cough*). Now I'm curious as to if I can export just that program though. Hmm...
