After a lot of people watched this origami as a decoration at my house and talking with Paulgon, I wanted to share this gift that I recieved on my birthday last year.
This awesome piece of art was made by
paulgon Something pretty different and even more impressive. I knew he´s really good at playing music and all that, but never expected to see him doing something like this. It really impressed me and I kept it as a treasure. Also thanks a lot for your kind words written on that letter that you even created according to the design : )
By knowing the efforts he did to make this work for real I really appreciate that gesture from him. So thanks a lot for this awesome work and for adding my favourite colors on it ; D

Impressive. A Truncated Icosahedron made with 90 Robert Neale's penultimate modules (60 red pentagon–hexagon modules + 30 black hexagon-hexagon modules). I made something like that once for my grandparents (for their 50 years of marriage), so I can confirm one thing about origami made of modules : It takes a long time and needs efforts to achieve, patience and method are master words. That's a great gift for a birthday. I used to be a origami fan. If anyone is interested : http://dev.origami.org/images_pdf/polyhedra.pdf
