I remember being really proud of that at the time, so I've been wanting to make a new version with my current skill level (also, I maybe kind of wanted to replace the poster print of the first one on my wall). It wasn't my original intent for the sketch, but when I realized how similar they were (and got some ideas while camping) I went for it. I still like the angle and direct stare of the first one so maybe I'll have another try at that another time and make it a portrait series or something.
Every time I thought I was done with this I kept deciding there was something else it needed. So I ended up with like five different versions uploaded to stash, haha. Maybe now I'll stop messing with it.
