This panda is a cartoon representation of the A. fulgens species of animal, also known as a Lesser Panda or a Red Panda -- but this one isn't red! A handsome combination of teal, plum, midnight blue, grey and white make this panda a special sight to be seen!
As an artist-designed creation, this is a piece of wearable art! So many details have been lovingly included to create this unique and adorable character.And guess what? UP FOR ADOPTION! When you adopt and take this panda home, you are also getting the opportunity to name and use this panda as your own personal character.
It is not often that I list a costume for public sale. I do not create custom client-designed fursuit heads, so this is a rare opportunity you have to take home a piece of my costume art. Some features and inclusions with this costume:
* A digital reference sheet which can be updated with the new chosen name of your panda. And a series of cute digital headshots that were used in planning the expression of the character.
* The lovingly handcrafted fully-washable costume headpiece. Lined completely on the interior. The eyelids are wired so they can adjust to a desired expression. The nose is soft, squishable sewn lycra. A sewn minky tongue. The only hard parts on the head include the eye plastic, thin nylon whiskers, and tiny sculpted teeth. There is light airbrushing to blend the facial features and markings to match the art, special care was taken to maintain softness and texture of the faux fur.
* Optional ear tufts! Red Pandas have variations, and can be quite tufty or not very tufty in their ears, in this case YOU DECIDE! Right now there are longer hairs that can be styled into a tuft, but if you want a deliberate tuft at the bottom of each ear I would be happy to include that feature at your discretion before costume is delivered. (If no preference is mentioned it will be delivered as-is)
* The head interior is hollow, including the muzzle. Ear vents, large mouth vent, and a roomy interior make this a mask that anyone can wear, even with glasses, big hair, piercings, and so on.
* Comfortable bodysuit with 3 fully adjustable and removable body pads, an inside pocket, side-chest zipper, and finished neckline (see measurements below). It is tailored to change the human form and make the wearer's body a more animalistic shape by means of a lengthened body and shortened appearance to the legs. The legs are Plantigrade, meaning the animal locomotion appears to have the whole foot flat on the ground as it walks, just like actual Red Pandas.
* Body padding is three pieces. A rump pad, worn behind the butt/thighs to pad out the booty. Two thigh pads to fill out the front if worn by a thin person. The pads are fully adjustable by adding/removing the stuffing via zippers. So the wearer can customize how thickly padded the character is, and chubby or thin people can both be able to enjoy wearing this costume.
* A comfortable set of handpaws with furred palms, built-in padded fingertips, and vinyl claws.
* A set of adorable, fully washable, detailed footpaws, with furred soles, vinyl claws, EVA foam inner-sole, fully lined with zipper-access. These footpaws will have the liner custom built to the wearer's shoe size, or if shoes are provided by the buyer I can build the liner to fit shoes given.
* Included is a metal tin featuring a red panda and endangered animal motif, containing a dark blue lycra balaclava (to wear under the costume head), replacement whiskers, and anything else I might find useful to include for you.
* One very large panda tail that zips onto the body, entirely soft and adjustable with a string to set the curve of the tail (so it can be set to be a floor dragger OR hang above the ground, if desired). A separate shaped pillow pads out the tail interior which has a zipper to adjust the stuffing and is removable for easy washing of the tail.
* There is also a zip-on belt loop "cap" for the tail, so the tail can be removed from the body and worn as a partial costume with clothing.
* In addition to the shoe size/shoe-provided option for the footpaws, The buyer will be asked their sleeve length and leg cuff length. These will be the only items tailored complimentary to fit the buyer's leg/arm measurements. Any other tailoring is handled as a separate project, not included in this purchase, and is subject to availability.
It is safe to machine-wash this entire fursuit (head, footpaws, handpaws, tail, body, padding) with regular liquid detergent using cold water. Place the fursuit head in a mesh laundry bag or a pillowcase, whiskers may need to be replaced after washing (extras provided). Remove padding and tail from the body and wash it separately. Include the spin cycle to get out extra washwater. Use air only (no heat) to dry. Place the head on a fan to speed up the drying process. This costume was built with the intention of it being easy to maintain and be washed. All the materials chosen in this costume's creation were selected with the ease of its care and maintenance in mind.
It is safe to use vacuum bags or "space bags" to pack and travel with this costume. You do not need to pack this costume in a special tote or "action packer" for travelling! It can safely be packed in a simple duffel bag or along with other regular luggage. The solid construction means that every part, even the head, can be squished and vacuum-packed for travel to events worldwide. Please keep in mind that you will only want to store this costume in a vacuum-packed state for only a few days while traveling and it is not recommended as a long-term storage solution.

Yes- I do tailoring! However, tailoring other than the complimentary arm/leg length and the footpaw sizing is handled as a separate project, not included in this purchase, and is subject to availability.

This costume will be delivered only after payment is received. I do need a few measurements -- your shoe size or confirmation if you are sending me shoes, arm length, and another measurement to determine leg length. (I will contact the high offer buyer on how to measure) The work done to make the footpaw liner will take a few days to be created, please allow 7 (seven) days for those alterations after I receive your measurements. If these measurements are not received in a timely fashion I will substitute a generic-sized liner that fits up to a mens size 11 shoe size and leave the arm and leg length as-is and you will be able to trim it to fit yourself.
* I will not disclose the new owner to preserve the fun of them revealing the costume as theirs if they choose!

The arms and legs will be altered to your custom length! The removable pads are intended to help fill out the lowered/dropped crotch of the character!
The two models pictured 5'5" and 5'11" are only to demonstrate that it looks good on a variety of size person and you definitely would be able to fit at 5'1" if you are under the other measurements shown for bust/chest, and tummy.

The arms and legs will be altered to your custom length! The removable pads are also able to have the stuffing adjusted, and are intended to fill out the tailored shape for a thin person. You definitely would be able to fit at 5'3" if you are under the other measurements shown for bust/chest, and tummy -- those listed are the maximum sizes.

Ohhhh god. I love it so much. And it would fit tooooo. Good luck to the high bidder sadly I'm out of the running but I do hope to run I to it at at con!!! Amazing work. I love all the details you have on this suit. Truly someone who takes the art of suit making to another level!
