How did you do the inside lining?

I have patterns I developed for all aspects of these footpaws, liner included. It is patterned!

are those like an actual quilted liner? i just used cotton on mine since I was worried of getting too hot here in hawaii

It is quilted broadcloth. I use it because it is washable (my footpaws are washable when the shoes are pulled out!), wipes clean easily with a damp cloth, and has enough body to stay up so the cuffs do not collapse and slide down the wearer's ankle.

Definitely make your own decisions on the materials you want to use on your fursuit parts. I selected the material I prefer because it has all the qualities I need to make it easy to care for and wear. It is still going to be warm to wear no matter what, a footpaw is either full of foam or (in my case) Polyfil, so those materials alone are what is going to make it feel like wearing slippers anyways.

I found using crocs that are loose helps keep a little airflow. =) i cant throw mine in the washer per say, but i can wash them by hand in the tub. white cleans surprisingly easily - or at least easier than i thought :)
