While a lot of the anatomy sizing and details are better in the new version, I have to admit that I like the steeper "looking down" angle in the old one. It makes her look like she's more focused on what's going on in the picture, rather than partially looking at an invisible audience. I dunno, might just be me.
On the surface the fish on the right looks like an older and more mature version than the fish on the left.
Other than that you seem to have gone for a more human like style since two years ago and a bit of a plumper style, possibly due to being more comfortable with your own image?
You have shown improvement in the line work but i don't know if the expression you want is correct in the right one. The left one show curiosity and the right more of shock.

In one way you can tell its still your style but I see I time difference not only in your style but in the characters too. What I mean is the first pic, the character even looks younger then inthe second. Before reading this I thought they were like sisters lol love it though. Its great to see the difference and progression. I love your art Fish my dear, keep it up!
