At the moment I seem to be in quite an art groove, which is a good thing since I have a lot of art I need to complete before the end of the year!
Yesterday I posted a B/W sketch link I had done the night before. After reevaluating sketch and getting some useful feedback I figured what I need to correct if I really wanted to take it to the next level as a finished work. In the late afternoon I made those corrections and took the sketch over to local Kinkos/ Fedex shipping store and got enlargements of the sketch. Then I transferred the image over to a piece of Bristol board, at this point I could've just left it for today but I figured I'd lay in some base colors to prep it for tomorrow.
The prep work went so smoothly that I figured I'd get Fluttershy's primary colors completed to. Much to my surprise that only took a couple hours so I decided to block her mane to. To make a long story short before I went to bed at 11:30pm last night I had succeeded in get the bulk of the piece finished. That meant I was complete the entire piece before 2pm today. Sometimes it just works out that way.
I am happy that I am getting better at remembering what the characters in my dreams look like. This is pretty depiction of what Fluttershy looks like in my Equestria dreamscape. The piece is almost entire colored pencil and is about 9.5"x 12". This piece will be in the Further Confusion 2015 art show.

Now this... Wow.
The colors suit her, especially as they match her mane and tail.
And from the way the garter suspender comes over her posterior, I can see that it's held taught and may even angle to avoid being shifted sideways. The front suspenders might be interesting, but the back ones might even be enough. (And are those bows on her front legs serving the same purpose?)
I look forward to learning what prompted her to wear it.

Yeah, I was very happy with the end result, and it is very much how she looked lying on her bed in her cottage.

I could imagine Rarity going through bolt after bolt fabric looking for the right color.

Well took note of your observations on the B/W sketch and took that into account when I did the final color piece.
