Here be the evil of the Serai species, the Shadow Serai. There's always gotta be at least one evil character right? XD!
Ok, I definately know of the couple of mistakes here. The main being the fore and hind back legs. I was not paying much attention when drawing them and they came out horrible dispropotionate >.<! Please don't point them out too much ok o_o. And the shading near the end again was a bit rushed, mostly because I didn't like how it came out. I wanted a darker shade of blue but that was the darkest I had...sad I know ><! Oh well lol. I do, however, like from the neck to the head. The frill and horn were fun to draw and color. I know the horn is so horribly overused but I couldn't help myself ^^;.
A few facts about the Shadow Serai
I haven't created a profile for this guy yet, kinda had the design created beforehand but that's good, it'll be easier writing it out now. Anyways, the Shadow Serai can reach approxiamtely 17 feet at the shoulder. They are an extremely aggressive Serai and live in small packs of up to six. They are a night stalker, hunting and moving only in the dead of night. Daylight does not hurt them physically but their eyesight practically vanishes in the daylight, making them virtually blind. They are very quick, their long and gangly hindlegs giving them an advantage to sprinting and long distance running, making outrunning these Serai extremely difficult to even impossible. The Shadow Serai are mainly a dark blue or black in color. Underneath, from their necks following their stomach to the end of their tail is always a dark grey. Their frills can either be a violet-blue to a dark blue. Their horns are always black. The striping on their bodies are red or a slightly lighter blue, still making it fairly dark though. Their eyes do contain a very faint pupil but look completely solid in color. They are normally red or black. Shadow Serai don't directly have an element of their own but they can move and shift within the shadows, moving like smoke. Their front canines possess a very strong and lethal poison like a cobra's. They can control the poison and use it when they feel.
