A Party to Remember
“Right, blue t-shirt? Check. Cargo shorts? Check. Legend of Zelda Beanie? Squee…er I mean check.” The orange-yellow fox girl smiled to herself as she checked herself in the mirror, putting the aforementioned beanie on and nodding. She was getting ready for a party with her friends and she was hoping it was going to be a great one.
She heard the knock at the door of her place and she smiled as she practically pounced on the door, opening it and smiling widely as she gave Necter, her best friend, a big hug. The poor girl blushed as she was only just fitting into her outfit of t-shirt and jeans. Carrol had never made a big thing of Necter’s gaining weight, especially at winter.
“Hey Nector, ready to go?” Carrol asked and Necter nodded, smiling as her fluffy tail swayed behind her.
“Y…Yeah.” The light brown fox replied, blushing a little. “You don’t think this is too revealing?” She asked and Carrol giggled.
“Nope, it’s perfect.” She replied as she closed and locked the door behind her. Carrol’s blue hair swayed in the breeze as she walked beside her chubby friend. They were headed for a nearby night club that was the host for the party being thrown by the company they both worked for. She had to admit it was uncharacteristically generous but she wasn’t gonna pass up a chance to socialize with her friends.
When they arrived the party was already at full swing with the loud music being heard outside. Necter gulped a little, she was more nervous in social settings then Carrol was. Still they both went in and Carrol smiled as almost everyone looked over before going back to what they were doing. Necter went straight for a table to one side and Carrol went with her for a moment before going to get them both a drink.
The orange-yellow fox couldn’t help but walk with a sway in time to the beat of the music, it was one of her favourite songs being played. Still she went to the bar and ordered a couple of drinks, there was a bar special that seemed to be quite popular so she ordered a couple of those.
She walked back to Necter to find a red dragon in a t-shirt and pair of cargo pants talking with Necter. Carrol smiled as she had seen them both talking at work and she placed the drinks down.
“Hello Darik” Carrol greeted him and he nodded to her.
“Hello Carrol.” He replied and Carrol got the hint as she winked to Necter before heading to the dance floor, both to give them both some time to catch up plus she had wanted to get on since she walked in to the place.
It wasn’t long before she was matching the rhythm of the song with several other dancers. Still something about the music seemed to reverberate within her, she figured it was just the bass and she continued dancing in time with it.
After a little while she came back to the table Necter was sat at, huffing a little from all the dancing and she takes a sip of her drink.
“Enjoying yourself?” Carrol asked Necter and the brown furred fox nodded, smiling shyly.
“Yeah…” Necter replied though Carrol noticed that Darik had gone up to dance now. After a few more sips Carrol went back up to the dance floor once again, noticing that there seemed to be a little less room on the dance floor, figuring it was just more people dancing and not noticing that each of the dancers seemed to be slowly growing thicker, including herself as her hips grew wider most of all.
It wasn’t until one of the dancers, an arctic wolf fell backwards after losing her balance that Necter noticed what was going on. The arctic wolf was huge! Her belly poking out from what was a loose t-shirt.
Necter looked to Carrol and her eyes went wide, Carrol’s normally loose cargo-shorts were straining over her huge hips and backside, the blue t-shirt struggling to cover up her growing belly and bust. It seemed none of the dancers had noticed, seeming to be lost in the rhythm of the music.
“Carrol!” Necter called out, blushing as she saw Darik growing fatter too, his red belly poking out from under his t-shirt. However the music drowned the brown-furred fox’s voice.
It wasn’t until the music had stopped and Carrol…waddled back to the table that she seemed to notice. Carrol’s eyes went wide as she looked down, huffing heavily, she couldn’t see her toes over her huge belly poking out, her t-shirt barely covering the white fur of her now huge belly, only just covering her chest. Still she blinked as her cargo-shorts felt very tight around her waist and she huffed heavily, slumping down on the chair, her huge backside squishing against it.
“W…What happened?!” Carrol asked, wondering if it was the drink.
“I…it was the music…” Necter replied, blushing a bit as Darik waddled over, his big belly wobbling about.
“H…How…oh…” Carrol blushed as she had heard of this kind of thing, music that causes the body to grow or fatten when you danced to it. She pressed a chubby paw into her huge belly, blushing as it felt very soft. Well now she knew why Necter liked it too…
