Tree went up today. It looks just the same as last year, except no kitty hiding under it. I'll always miss Dax, but now I'm just waiting for the time when we can adopt a new kitty. I have that uneasy, restless feeling of when I'm expecting a guest to arrive at any minute. Sort of like I'm holding my breath all the time, ya know? I feel this whole process will be complete once we have a new kitty settled in. I'm guessing that'll probably happen sometime after the holidays.
