It starts menacing, growling but not roaring, like a careful circling. Even once it goes into action, it doesn't explode. The relative order and calm throughout the track point more towards a confrontation of claw and fang but also of thought, like two friends forced to battle out of principle. The darker, almost tragic sounding tone thanks to the violin, lends credence to that fact. The pauses would seem to describe short clashes, either due to exchanges of lines or moments of losing the opponent from sight.
The track itself gives off vibes of Man Of Steel(If You Love These People) and a bit of TSFH(Winterspell) mixed with PotC(Up is Down)? at 2:00...
Like much of your music, the effect is cinematic, in absence of video it forces the mind to evoke imagery. Such music is excellent for writing or art.
