What's with people in fursuits wearing harnesses?

This is like the 4th pictures I've seen of people in fursuits wearing them.

Are there like rock-climbing places at furcons or something?

Some animals, such as dogs, are fitted with harnesses for pulling. Huskies, in particular, are known for their use as dogs for dogsleds.

Yeah, kind of.

A harness has different meanings. People wearing it primarily just as accessory or fetish gear.

Like Koen explained, huskies i.e. are fitted with it for pulling dog-sledges.
