Ooooh good golly miss molly! I have waited YEARS for this OC to get drawn up. Admittedly some of that wait was because I'd get distracted by another art idea and forget I wanted THIS GUY drawn up. Well I didn't forget this time! This is Tusk, my Predator OC and besides my old Ninja Kasuga OC/Online persona Tusk is my longest lived OC that still gets used.
His story varies from version to version. The main gist that is universal is the guy is not your typical Yautja. He was born into an 'Outcast Clan' that didn't follow the Hunter's code rigidly and actually intermingled with other species socially which led to his clan being more 'civil'. While he was trained in the hunter arts he doesn't get off on hunting. At least not just every 'worthy prey', he hunts bad guys, evil dudes that deserve the harsh death a 'Hunter's' methods dish out.
In short he kind of does bounty hunting, but less for the money and more for honing his skills and ridding the galaxy of evil. Money merely allows him to thrive in the galactic community so it's a side thing for him.
While usually stoic, he is more personable than most would assume, able to match humor, snark and wit with most and in some ways he can be a softy. He also has a bit of a pervy side, helped especially by his finding other species beside his own attractive. In fact he's been married a few times, and thanks to some genetic work he had done when he got married to his first non-Yautja wife, he can interbreed with most species safely, and even 'switch' his vision from natural infrared to the normal human vision spectrum.
Because his species are very long lived his life-span is vast. In a rather sad-irony to him his life-span seems to seemingly be unending as he has outlived all his wives even Yaujta born ones. That also includes his children to his knowledge. So despite siring several families he feels alone due to him outliving most everyone to the point after a few generations he stopped keeping explicit contact with some of his sired clans. He still watches over them, but none truly know him save from legends and tales.
While a 'good guy' the dude is not afraid to dispense bloody justice, and is not above making some tough calls that stress even the gray areas of morality. To his few friends he is loyal and there for life. He can be stubborn to a fault and is still sometimes prone to the berserker episodes of his kind if he's pissed off enough.
Lastly I am glad Tusk is now fully drawn up, and again the artwork of Fred Perry, just makes him come off as badass as he should.
Lastly-lastly: the duster coat does cloak with him, besides being a signature style of his he just likes long coats if the situation favors, plus his brand usually have pockets of holding/dimension pockets so he can stash extra junk in the coats.
Tusk belongs to me.
