So the inspiration behind this commission I received is actually a personal one. Growing up the Power Rangers (specifically the MMPR series) was a huge favorite of mine, and I looked to the Red Ranger as a inspirational figure. Flash forward to last November, when I heard Austin St. John was actually going to be at my last convention for the year (along with Walter Jones), and I was kinda wanting to say hi, but didn't think on it. Until my uncle told me about a conversation he overhead on a train - about Austin's great experiences after he left the show, and all of the great things he did in the world.

I was giddy and nervous when I talked to him and what he meant to me as a child and even now as an adult, and I'll never forget meeting him. (I wish however I could forget how utterly blurry the two photos I got with him are! DX)
