So, I got some pipe cleaners from an art store on a whim, and decided to try to make something out of them. It was a sort of experiment, as I had no idea what I was doing nor how it was going to turn out.
It turned out kinda unremarkable.
As a medium, I don't know how much potential pipe cleaners have. It's really difficult to define form unless you're working with a really thin/wiry figure, and unless you want a wire-frame look, covering volume just takes forever. And the result will always just look like coiled pipe cleaners. Though a lot of that in my case was probably the mistake of working at such a large scale.
Anyway, it was an experiment, and it was kinda fun, though really time-consuming. don't know if I'll try it again.
This guy used up about 400 pipe cleaners.
