Hehe, der unschärfeeffekt wirkt alsob der Vogel mit einem lichtstarken Tele fotografiert worden sei. Solche Linsenfehler macht das ganze noch realistischer, leider verschwinden auch ein paar Details die du an den Hals gemalt hast :)
Ansonsten nen schöner Vogel mit gut, realistisch gewählten Farben.

I absolutely have to favourite this. The sense of depth is pulled off really well, and the details on the fur-feathery plumage around the face works brilliantly. The highlights and the shades are well used; there is neither too much or little of either. I do feel that the head behind the cheeks did not need lower detail or blur for that matter. The focus is really on the face, and I get that, but judging by the rest of the picture (and the gallery) the plumage on the back of the head and neck would've been delightful to watch with their intricate feather textures. :) I particularly like the eyes, but that's sort of a given - it looks like the area where you put in the most work.
Lastly, I -love- the colour palette. The low-saturated rusty orange and deep grey blue really, really work as complimentary colours on this animal. That detail is probably my favourite and what made me fav it next to all these other idiotically beautiful pieces of art. :)
