Well this, I'm wondering, might be to much for me to handle. This is Foxxwell, he is an Arcana and Dark Magic user, he also has a katana. But he's also quite normal with the fact he's an average Red Wood Fox. Much work is needed lol. There's supposed to be blood dripping from the sword with a small poll of blood by his feet, and he will have a blue aura around him too. And Leather pants!!!

lol, I suppose by his standards I'm one of the worst artists out there. I tend to use how to draw stuff and I look at other peoples art for ref. Hehe, please, how many people are out there with these kinds of bodies? I'm I supposed to go out with a camera and ask people to pose? I suppose I could google but that doesn't do much for my imagination. My friend 
Seiokou hates drawing people from real life. It seems to be harder. ~shrugs~ I think its just his style of doing things. He can keep his philosophy of drawing. Only thing I agree with is that tracing isn't drawing in my opinion. But really, we all have our own way of doing things lol. Thanks for the advice though.

had just read that from him and kinda... repeated it to you for some reason. I think using photos (not from google it suucks but somewhere like flickr) for poses is kidna useful
a quick glance, some dots or circles drawn and it helps with the picture
I'm not sure... but I think I said that to you because you seemed to be doing a few new things n especially textures here, so it was kinda, if you're unsure how metal reflects, how leather pants light in comparison to jeans, to look at a photo or real life

Nah. ~Huggles~ Sorry if I seemed a bit harsh, it came out a little meaner then intended. But I've just been scolded by artistic friends a lot to do this, and do that. And the advice has been all over the place. I normally find the way leather reflects is a lot softer then what I did. Hehe. I know your trying to help but I actually find Onta to be a lil bit snobbish in a way. I'm still trying to find my own style and way of doing things. And for some reason real life has never helped me. I suppose its because I hate realism so much lol. Sorry if I sounded a bit touchy. ~huggles again~ I should open myself up to more ways of how I do my drawings. I normally do it just from memory or imagination. I don't think I ever used reference, except when I'm doing gift art or commissions, but thats only for the characters, and they just normally give me a description... which is a bit frustrating at times because I feel like I fail lol. But it seems I'm ranting so I'll stop typing now. lol
