Tbh, like 80% of my sketching process is erasing, and not in the way that you think. It's more like I make a line/blob/whatever, then erase to shape it how I want, rinse, and repeat. Most of the time, I don't do "proper" line art because I c0000000000........0000000000000000000000000lean (<-- my cat helped, and I'm leaving in his hard work.)
Anywho, as I was saying, I just clean my sketches up and those are just my lines. I haven't done proper inks in... probably 4 or 5 years. I really, really need to start doing it again, though. I get super burnt out by the time I'm done with the clean up, and if I'm not really happy with the results after spending like 4 hours on it, it's just a tad discouraging. Oops.
