I did my usual search for UNIQUE and FEW and FAR in between and I found out...THERE ARE LIKE NO FREAKING SEA LIONS! Better, yet, there are NO sea lion fursuits! There is ONE harp seal fursuit that Autumn Fallings made. Well, I want a dang sea lion.
I've adapted the sea lion into an anthro, which, didn't seem to be happening in the fandom in the artwork. Nobody gave their sea lion flipper feet. I like my adaptation, it makes more sense. A lot of people had human feet with a dolphin tail and seal flippers at the end. Like, that makes no sense, because Sea lions have a tail inbetween their flippers. I took that tail, exaggerated its length a bit, because I like tails, myself and made it short enough he's not an otter in appearance, but long enough, he can balance on his hind legs and twist and turn in the water on short notice. It may be shortened or so in the future, but for now, I like the length.
Brutus is based on a stuffed animal I found at the thrift store the other day. I was going to cut him open and convert him into a DS case, but I got to looking at his product tag and he's a vintage little-big grumps! Yes! So, He shall be my bed sea lion. He'll float around around my headboard and keep watch. He ALMOST suffered a horrid fate that he shouldn't have. I will most likely add something like that into his backstory.
Brutus is a brute. Brutal, he has been called. He's the hired muscle, the bouncer and the heavy lifter. He kinda keeps to himself, for the most part, but he has a few friends in the general area he treads around. Nobody messes with Brutus, but Brutus will check in on people or put his nose in other people's business if someone is being bullied or he suspects some foul business is going down. He takes jobs, off and on that will benefit his built build and his grumpy appearance. He's quite happy, but for the most part, for the sake of doing his job, he's not impressed with your happiness or your hot-shot attitude. Don't tease the Brute. He will Brutally beat you to a pulp, SON! C'mon SON!
