I haven’t been a very prolific composer in the past few years, or at least that’s what it seems like considering I’ve only submitted a handful of tunes. The reality is that I compose quite a bit, but it seems like most of these end in a endless loop of me not having idea what to do with them, It’s a really unfortunate fate for most of the songs I start composing, I simply cannot keep myself to continue these because I have no idea where to take them next.
Some are really simple ideas, some are almost finished pieces but in the end they all feel like dead-ends to me.

Anyway, I decided that as a way to move on (but not necessarily give up on most of these) I would submit the totality of my unfinished work… yes, all of them, no matter how big or small the files are.I found out there’s quite a bit of them, 54 in total! Some are shorter than 30 seconds while some break the 2 minute mark, some are REALLY sketchy and rough while some are somewhat polished and overworked.

I’ll also have to split the upload in two four SEVERAL PARTS (because FA’s file size limits are gheeey) , because the files are huuuuge..
I’ll provide a bit of commentary for every WIP down below, too: I’ll use the file’s name for ever piece, and when there’s two different songs in one file, I’ll separate them by patterns (Folks who use FL Studio will understand).

Ah, there are many versions of this but I ultimately decided to use this one… it was originally meant to be a song with actual lyrics in it, but I tend to deviate from that very very fast. I don’t know what it is now, but I love it.

1:02 - 2:25 ~ cioussf.flp
I’ve posted a version of this before! Also from the earlier mentioned Furcadia dating sim… my friend didn’t like it too much as the main theme, though.

2:27 - 3:25 ~ cop.flp
I don’t remember what my inspiration for this one was, but I’m sure I was trying to mimic something else… hell, I think it might’ve been inspired by Minecraft’s music, too.

3:25 - 4:01 ~ desc.flp
Meh, I was tempted not to include this one, it’s short as sketchy as heck.

4:04 - 4:47 ~ dr.flp
Another meh-ish one!


4:49 - 6:26 ~ fil.flp
I like this one! It was the theme for a friend’s Furcadia character, sadly she didn’t find it fitting… but hey! Still a pretty good tune in my opinion.

6:29 - 7:04 ~ fin.flp
Might consider turning this into something larger/more elaborate in the future, sounds a bit promising.

7:06 - 7:51 ~ fr.flp
Ah! The wonders of the phrygian mode… and the wonders of my obfuscation when working on the same thing for hours and not getting any ideas.

7:55 - 8:44 ~ gio.flp
I was experimenting with a very specific set of instruments/harmonies, which will turn up two other times in this list. The drums are a bit of a mess and I think the audio clips at times, but oh well.

8:46 - 10:18 ~ go.flp
Ohgosh, I hope I can finish this one soon, I think it’s rather lovely, even though it can be a mess sometimes and some parts require 3 hands to be played properly.
