This is something I've been playing around with for a while. It'll probably turn up on the next-but-one album (the next album, "Three Little Pigs" currently being in Mastering for a hopeful January release). With luck it will be extended by then , but if it really isn't happening I may call it quits and record it in its current form.
This demo was taped direct from the synthesizers' mixing board in a single take from sequencer, so the mix is kind of crowded and rough-sounding. But as I say, it's just a demo.

Thanks. Thanks for the fav as well.
I need to update this, but if you - or indeed anyone else - are interested, here's the studio:

...it hasn't changed that radically since.

Nice studio. I really want to find myself a nice reel-to-reel sometime. But all the good musical models usually seem to cost $400. Also..
"Q: Why do you record this stuff on tape instead of using a computer like everyone else?
A: Because it's more fun."
Great to hear someone that shares the same mind. Although I work back and forth between a computer and tape.

new wave can be exeedingly fast sometimes. I don't listen to it much but some songs are created to be stormin' and to express a certain mentality such as the mentality of the race, hunt, or anger. Darkwave would require silent yet poundingly harshish drums in the backround and a certain scary or ominous sound that the listener would not be expecting burst from nowhere or slide in and make the hair on you neck stand up. Sort of like resident evil or metroid prime. If it's 8 bit then I would see how it could be Darkwave(which is under the catagory of 80s' music). A good quick new age song with drums is Stranded V1 by

So, I know you posted this two years ago, and it may be of little reliance to you now, but I love this track. The attention to sonic detail, and the loyalty to classic equipment really show through. Both your arrangement and mix are spot on. Kudos on a great track, man. I really appreciate what you're doing.
I have, as a matter of fact! ^ ^ The track sounds great with drums, but I'm a bit torn as to which version I like better. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for music without a rhythm section haha. Feels so... Free? Something like that. Man, analog recording packs a punch! I wish my reel to reel was in working condition... *sigh*
