The young lion flattened his ears at the sound of words behind the screen, he wasn't stupid. Nor would he ever show he was in pain. They thought little of him and it showed from the constant abuse. This wasn't 'treating a mental patient'...this was torture. HELL.
The door clicked and crunched open as they came towards the lion with a thick chain to fasten to his metal trap of a collar. They dare not release him from his jacket. He flinched at the needle that drugged him into sedation rather quickly...
''Its time for your electrotherapy, kid.'' The Doctor and Warden sniggered behind course voices. ''Trust me, this is good for you.''
The lion tried to fight, tried to scream, but they taped up his muzzle with thick duct tape roughly as he growled.
''Don't fight, we're here to help.''
Spider as a teenager in the asylum before he bleached his fur and skin.
