I decided to revisit my foam based ears from way back when ~ back then I used wire in the ears with really basic foam sheets but I wasn't too keen on the outcome. So when I got a short respite from orders, commissions and other general chaos thats been going on in my life for the past 6 months or so, I decided to give the foam ears another go and use various techniques I have learnt over the past months in the process.

These ears are 100% foam based inners, luxury faux fur, dry brushed blackened tips (as I couldn't find my airbrush) and are placed onto ribbon instead of a headband allowing repositioning if needed ( they are not glued to the ribbon ;) ) and this also allows them to fit on all head sizes. They contain no wire or metal so cannot be bent but lets be honest, who'd want to do that with these ears!?

This particular pair is my personal pair, made for my birthday party in a few weeks. They are a prototype, and as I now know what techniques I wish to use on these I shall be making a few more to perfect said techniques before putting them up for general sale in my etsy store.
