Worked on this while I was at work today. My eyes are ok, I just needed to practice show of emotion and figure out what eye style I would like to go with when and if I draw people. I do plan to make refs for my story project I am slowly working on and some of those characters will either be human or have a human form.
One thing I've always had issues with is hands, so I will be heavily working on that, along with different angles and proportions. I'm used to drawing things from a side angle all the time (the easiest angle to draw) and notice way to many mistakes when drawing any other angle.
I also have an issue with things NOT being repetitive. Meaning I don't always use the same style so it's like I don't really have a style. I mean it's clear enough that I keep to the same basic design each time, but say if I was to every make a comic page, Tort would look noticeably different in every panel (though that is why I need to work on propotion too haha).
So from now on every time I draw a character I'm going to try to remain true to the first ref I drew and if there are any changes it would be because i've improved and not be because I relied on memory alone and came up with something almost new haha. if that makes sense.. anyways I'm done typing for now xD
