I've always loved the Disgaea art style and just recently I wanted to make some avatars around that style, so I gathered refs and managed to pull it off somewhat. I was mainly trying to recreate the portraits that the characters tend to have so that's why they're all facing left

I never got to play Makai Kingdoms but it sounded neat. Some of the dlc characters interest me but I'm waiting for them to appear out of that season pass thing. Croix was the demon hunter with sunglasses right or am I remembering wrong? He'd be neat regardless or Culotte
Yup, that's him! I always thought he should have been brought back a bit more, but sadly he never really was. Makai kingdoms was pretty darn good. They really hit the nail on the head when it came to all the mini systems, perks, and mechanics in that game. Makai also had some very unique and interesting characters, unlike some of the more recent Disgaea titles, who.. seem to have lost some of their character. :(
