I play games with a group of friends on teamspeak and there are three Steves in it. You can imagine how confusing it gets.
There are a lot of Stevens in this area.
As for the lip syncing itself I once saw a neat thing that showed the 6-ish basic mouth positions to make cartoon lip syncing more believable/accurate by alternating them depending on the sound. Damned if I'll be able to find it now.
