Here it is me Victor Redtail in my Red-tailed Hawk Fursuit with a real live Red-tailed Hawk
At the Kansas City Renaissance Festival there was this one group called Wildlife Command Center, Raptor Rescue INC. They brought Raptors and other animals to the Ren Fest. They happen to saw me in my Victor Redtail fursuit and immediately offer me a photo op with one of their Redtails, I couldn't pass this opportunity up as I love redtails a bunch as they are my favorite animal and my fursona. (As I relate to the Red-tailed Hawk more than any other animal out there for so many reasons to single out) So they took pictures of their own and I had them take pictures with my camera and I got this lovely photo of this hawk.
The Hawk I am holding is a immature female Red-Tailed Hawk. She was hatched this past spring of 2015.

I've known a redtail or two in my day (father was a falconer and I've volunteered in wildlife rehab). They're awesome birds, and very even-tempered (part of why they're so popular as educational birds). Falconers consider them one of the two birds you're allowed when you're just starting out, because they're so laid back and easy to handle.
Nothing quite like having a live raptor sitting on your glove.
