Entry for  onta's unigan contest.

I was really hoping to get a chance to color this, but the past few days have been whittled away by various distractions and now I only have one day to make any final adjustments, and doing anything close to a respectable coloring job in one day using a trackpad... it's just not happening.

STORY STUFF:
The Southern Unigans, a small tribe seperate from the main species, live among the clouds andhave an insatiable curiosity about the world around them, so they spend their days studying and experimenting, and submit their new discoveries to the "Halls of Knowledge", vast libraries full of everything the race has learned.

Now, because they're so curious, they tend to get into trouble frequently. This is especially true for the children, so the elders of the tribe have a number of rules set that must never be broken. One of those rules is to never touch the spines protruding from the clouds towards the east outskirts of town. When the children ask why, the answer given is quite simple:
"Because a giant dragon will burst through the clouds and carry you away."

But come on, that's just silly superstition... right?
