I’ve had the image of a lion with a starry nebula mane in my mind for quite some time now. I made several attempts to get him down on paper, and finally here is a one version I like. Perhaps this character will continue to emerge in my artwork, I like his little crown of stars :) I was listening to the Silmarillion audiobook , the Ainulindalë chapter while painting. I think it helped .
