i have a question, i don't know if it will be answered, but here it goes anyways, how do you get this level of detail on the robotics? it looks and feels like this is based off of an actual robotic concept, this looks like an actual cyborg, it looks like it has mobility and it feels organic, i have tried to make cyborg concepts before, but i never get the desired end result, i think i need feedback from someone who actually knows his stuff
well, it kinda is based off real robotics, or at least to a degree. I look through a lot of concept art, and try to reverse-engineer what I'm seeing. Same with anatomy. In the case of this pic, I'm imagining what machinery would be needed to replace the organic equivalents in order to get the same kind of movements as a humanoid body, where things would need to bend, ect. It's something I'm working on getting better at as well. I'd say just study a bunch. Look at machines and try to figure them out. Look at people and try to figure them out. And blend together what you find out
