Nocran is the youngest out of a large flock of close to 20 siblings. Most of them are adopted siblings as Cryons take in children, who has lost their parents, due to war or have fallen in the line of duty.
As soon as he could he joined the Cryon army, wanting to prove himself, he quickly rose in the ranks. He was given a mission to investigate a curiosity in a sector of space. This turned out to be a wormhole. He has not been seen since then. At least not on his home planet.
