An awesome commission that
Bering paid for both of us for being the winner of her 400 watchers raffle of November which was made by
Woozle and
Volcanins.
On the parking of an airfield in the early 60s, Roland, Capitaine of the ECTT 2/30 "Normandie-Niémen", is showing to Alex, sergeant in the RAF, one the last production of the Armée de l'Air and one of the world's most modern military aeroplane in the world, the SNCASO 4050 Vautour II in its N variant, the all-weather interceptor. Maybe they will have a little flight later. :)

I just can't dislike it! :D
And as I thought, it really worth the time that we waited! And I'm also glad that this idea pleased you, the Vautour is one of my favourite Cold War era aircraft, I discovered it last summer when I saw one of the bomber variant exemple and yes, they really did an awesome job! ;)

You're welcome, we never completly know an era, it always remains some things that, by digging further and further, you finally discover, it's the same thing for me about the Battle of France, I learn more and more things by reading testimonies from those who did it (and believe me, it's hard to find the books as most of them were only published during the French occupation)... But you know, you also helped me to discover some periods and events that I would never have discovered by myself so, thank you to you too! ^^
I'll try, I'm slowing down for the moment on photos as I'm go work of night and I nearly come back of night (and I'm always searching, since 1 month, to get a photo of night with fog but there's no fog...) and because of the cold I can't go around for take photos of historical things, last time I saw an historical thing I let my camera at home and was at more than 300km from it... :/
After, I've got so much things that I recently learnt and that I want to share but I just don't how I can share them... ^^'

I hope so but I'm not very optimistic for the next weeks, we just had some snow this morning (which is pretty rare where I live) and we are just entering in a cold front, but in a way, I prefer that it happen now than later. Eh! Seasons are not anymore like before, it's all messed up, if that continue like that, we will have snow on Jully and heatwaves on January... Same the birds are disturbed by those changes, I saw geese migrating in the lats days of January...
