Skip Hopkins (new character!)
Skip Hopkins is a former child actor, notable for starring in the 1988 direct-to-video special "The Easter Wish" and very little else. At some point after filming he developed a heavy addiction to chocolate, which effectively ended his career and took a large toll on his health and waistline. Nowadays he lives off licensing royalties and a handful of reality show appearances, and spends most of his time stuffing his face and trying to get back into acting and relive his glory days.
Felt like I needed a new male character and/or a go-to "miserable fatass" character (that isn't tails :B) so i modified that rabbit from the last picture and BAM, here's one! Added a few things I'm startin to dig a lot too~

I've heard that fat actors have an easy time finding roles provided they are willing to accept them. This character would make an interesting neighbor in a bad neighborhood. Kind-of like a Carl, or a Patrick Star, but perhaps also a gamer and/or comic-book geek.
An interesting, perhaps even great, backstory definitely adds depth to such a character. Lots of child stars end up "losers". But it's not just that, the world is filled with people who have giant trophy cases from an active childhood life who end up falling short of everyone's expectations. It's very relateable.
This guy's character arc could end with him accepting the way things turned out, and moving on to start a new life defined on new terms. Sure, he's a big slob, but who isn't? Maybe he finds someone who can see him for him, beneath all of that fat and depression. Maybe he turns from the "depressed fat guy" to the "jolly fat guy". Who knows.
His fate is in your hands.

Gosh, now that's a backstory! I kinda love this character. I can just imagine him waking up after a week-long chocolate bender, passed out with empty ice cream cartons, chocolate boxes and bottles of chocolate syrup all around him. Trying to get out of bed but just feeling hundreds of pounds of sweaty, useless weight slosh on top of him, making it tough to breathe. Realizing he just spent all the money he earned from his last traumatic, embarrassing public appearance on his desperate need for chocolate, remembering how out of breath and exhausting it was, and wondering how he's going to do it again now that he's put on another fifty pounds.
