The biggest, most ambitious project of mine to date. Always been a fan of the retro-style aliens and robots. So I decided to put my time into a drawing, not to promote my own characters or other franchises but just... 'Cuz it's fun.

Took me ages, worked through a stressful month at school, through a burnout, but it's done. It's finally done.

I considered putting orange gloss on the metal. I've considered putting texture on the entire thing, like... Paper. But screw it. I like how this looks now.

Done in Photoshop CS2 with Wacom Volito Tablet. Approx. Too many hours. Not a single reference used. Original is 2300x4000 pixels, 71MB...
Everything except for the texture on the floor and the text on the newspaper was made with a brush. Just a simple, round brush.


My best work so far. No furry. Just imagine it's a furry world. Or furry aliens. Whatever.
