It's been on my mind for quite a while to design a character which is more "me" - since my old character was designed 11 years ago, and more represents me as I was in my early 20s! My previous "rework" attempts failed for one reason or another - they just didn't fit as I wanted them to. This time I took a lot longer to think it over.

And so, after a number of false starts over the past couple of weeks, I finally managed to get this done in an hour last night. :)

I don't even know if I'm really still a furry at heart but I figure it's not worth worrying about. I like drawing animals & animal people and the purpose of the ref is less "a character I will draw myself as" (because frankly I don't generally feel the urge) and more for when people want to badge trade with me etc, this is the representation I feel fits better for me as I am today. It's taken a long while to figure it out, weirdly enough!
